About this event
Established in 2019, this rootsey festival celebrates the finest Irish roots and blues artists, along with some international talent.
Ticketed Headline gigs include Hothouse Flowers, Crow Black Chicken, Zoe Basha and The Rob Strong Band at The Abbey Tavern. We have 2 mini festivals at the Summit Inn: The Blues Guitar Legends Triple bill with performances by Paul Sherry, US instrumentalist Silas Caldwell and Mik Pyro’s Dublin Blues Cartel. Then we have The Women in Blues Triple Bill with performances by Niamh Strong, French rock goddess Elise Frank and finally Mary Stokes and her amazing band.
There are 40 free gigs across the remaining 5 venues which include McNeills, O’Connells, The Bloody Stream, The Arbour Bar and Wrights-Findlater.
