Hosted by historian Donal Fallon, In The Ring with Dan Donnelly & Dublin’s Boxing Heroes blends live conversation, music, spoken word and performance in an immersive, in-ring experience. This is not just a retelling of Donnelly’s rise as Ireland’s first heavyweight champion, but a wider reflection on boxing’s deep roots in Dublin 8, its communities, and its cultural imagination.

Featuring a dynamic line-up of artists and contributors including Damien Dempsey, Barry McGovern, Terry O’Neill, Emmet O’Brien and Niamh Ní Charra, the evening moves between past and present, myth and memory.
